WorkSafe BC High Risk Activity Rating

Most, if not all BC Hydro job sites are classified as High Risk under WorkSafe BC regulations for Emergency Transport Vehicles and First Aid Regulations. As a result of being classified as High Risk, the WPEMS team often provides on site Advanced First Aid (formerly OFA III) medics, with our Emergency Transport Vehicles and Mobile Treatment Centres.

ETV and MTC Rentals

Often BC Hydro Crews have their own OFA III or Advanced First Aid medics embedded into their construction and utility crews. As an approved and accredited BC Hydro First Aid contractor, WPEMS rents Emergency Transport Vehicles, Industrial Ambulances and Mobile Treatment Centres to BC Hydro crews, as well as to BC Hydro Contractors who have their own medics. WPEMS can supply ETV’s, MTC’s and Industrial Ambulances with, or without medical personnel.
