Why choose to rent?

Often, customers have urgent or emergent needs as their projects can quickly scale, or, to be in compliance with WCB Advanced First Aid regulations. Rather than purchasing, outfitting, maintaining and stocking their own WCB Advanced First Aid ETV, customers choose to rent an ETV from WPEMS because of the low cost of renting an ETV, how quickly we can mobilize the ETV to your site, while keeping costs low. By renting the Emergency Transport Vehicle instead of owning, this allows the team at Western Pacific Emergency Response is able to provide a turn-key, readily available solution to our customers.

What is in the ETV?

Our Emergency Transport Vehicles come fully stocked and equipped to WorkSafe BC regulation standards for an ETV on site, including the updated Advanced First Aid standards.

This includes a stretcher, back boards, lifting devices, oxygen and advanced first aid supplies.

What is the difference between an ETV and an MTC?

Mobile Treatment Centre is a 4×4 truck mounted unit which is used for larger worksites in more remote areas. WPEMS also supplies Mobile Treatment Centre Units.

Does an ETV come staffed with a first aid attendant or paramedic?

WPEMS can supply medical attendants such as Advanced First Aid (OFA III) and Paramedic personnel with our ETV rentals, for any project. Or, we can also rent the ETV or MTC on a “dry” basis without staff, allowing you to use your own first aid personnel.
