Training

Western Pacific Emergency Response does not pay for your training or for your S100/S185 course, fitness testing day or medic truck orientation. We will facilitate entry into our S100/S185 courses but training and orientation dates are not paid. Our experience is that people’s plans often change throughout the summer and based on this, training is not paid. The training that WPEMS provides is fully transferrable to other companies and organizations hence why we do not pay for your training, or your attendance at training. However, the completion bonus structure is designed to compensate for your time by adding a bonus to those who demonstrate commitment to fulfilling their contracts, using their training and remaining committed to the Company for the duration of their contract without bouncing around. The completion bonus pays back the cost of your S100/S185 course, after only a few days of work. We pride ourselves on running a tight crew with consistent rotations. We are not interested in short timers who bounce around between companies. We pay the best wages and have the most modern MTC trucks around to keep the best and most cohesive team for the season. If the company you are applying to takes only warm bodies from facebook forums, be careful who you choose to work for. Our 20 year history is proof that WPEMS follows only the very best practices.
