Some of the most compelling work that we undertake is helping patients and their family members through difficult and challenging circumstances. The internet is full of advice - good and bad, and we know that the chances are, finding yourself having to organize a medical transport can be fraught with difficulty, challenges and a great deal of unknowns. It may seem like you are awash in a sea of information and are not certain where to turn or what comes next - and we absolutely know that you did not start your day planning to figure out how to manage such an unexpected situation. You want to know that whichever service you select to provide support is safe, reliable, experienced, trustworthy - and will be on time.
Most of the non-emergency medical transport situations that we encounter are moving a family member such as a parent between skilled nursing facilities, helping patient's move to or from palliative care, or repatriating a patient home after an accident or injury that occurs far from where they live.
No matter the circumstance, we approach each request with diligence and compassion. WPEMS is a real company, with real world experience and expertise, providing Paramedic level care during each patient encounter. Because we do not respond as an emergency ambulance to 911 calls in the community, this means that we do not bump client requests. We are not volume driven like large companies with hospital transfer contracts with the big health authorities, allowing us to focus our time and care on you.
Please note that WPEMS is not a 911 emergency ambulance service. If you need to be seen in an emergency room, please call 911 or go to your nearest hospital.
Reach out and let us know, how can we help?
Sincerely;
